Ask about opportunitiesGood fit
The lab is especially interested in applied problems with real-world consequences.
We are interested in projects that connect cognitive science with decisions made in practice — especially where identity, memory, evidence, or AI systems affect people’s lives.
This includes questions about face matching, super-recognisers, AI-generated faces, confidence, memory under pressure, identity verification, and the design of human–AI decision systems.
For student enquiries, it helps to include your background, research interests, current program, and the type of opportunity you are seeking.
